Lessons at Rancho del Lago
At Rancho del Lago, we teach the art of riding, founded on the classical principles of horsemanship. Our students begin by learning the basic balanced position on our school ponies and horses. As they advance, our students are taught the basic tenets of dressage and jumping, focusing on the correct movement and use of the horse’s body and effective communication between horse and rider. All the while, our students are taught about every aspect of caring for the horse on the ground, as we seek to turn out complete horsemen and women.
